The prime focus of GCMPL is coal beneficiation, transportation and logistics of coal and coal trading in mineral rich states of Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It has total installed capacity of 10.00 MTPA distributed amongst its four coal washeries located in the state of Odisha at Talcher and Ib Valley, and in the state of Telengana at Ramagundam and Manuguru.

Most recently Company has ventured into solar power generation by setting up a 10 MW capacity plant in Naskal Village of Rangareddy district of Telangana State in March’2016. This plant has been successfully commissioned within stipulated time and budget.
Company has set up its first diversified business in power generation field in the year 2007. The wind mill plant is situated in Kutch district of Gujarat. The Company entered into PPA with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limted to sell its power for a period of 20 years.
