Manisha Solanki is a senior business executive with over two decades of leadership experience across the mining, energy, and financial sectors. A graduate in Economics and Statistics from The George Washington University, she began her career in the global finance industry, working with a hedge fund in Madrid, Spain. Her early exposure to international capital markets laid a strong foundation for her later work in industrial operations and strategic business leadership.

In 1998, Manisha joined Global Coal and Mining Pvt. Ltd. (GCMPL), where she has served as a long-standing Board Member, playing a key role in business development, financial oversight, and the expansion of operations across India. She has been instrumental in shaping the company’s growth trajectory, particularly in aligning coal beneficiation and mining services with evolving energy demands and compliance standards.

She has also held a board position at Sainik Mining and Allied Services Ltd., one of India’s pioneering coal mining and logistics companies. Her contributions have spanned financial governance, strategic partnerships, and the coordination of large-scale mining projects across multiple geographies.
